I really thought Siams were for the desert?

then again, i've been in the desert for quite a while now ... never needed more than stock tyres in my FJ + silverado to get anywhere, sorry to say i take my wife's Prado out some times and again on stock tyres ... goes allllll over the place :-D

Is siams more like a 'cool' thing? or is it really so much better than a stock tyre in terms of speed and handling? just clueless !

Almost any road tire is decent enough for off-roading.
Siams are great when it comes to floatation on the sand and really help with WOT dune climbs.

siams give you topspeed thats all since not a lot of rubber is touching the road ( less resistance) and they stretch at high speeds so even less rubber is touching! and ya the land cruiser was heavily modded

i've grown tired of low-profile tires.
i'm a fan of balloon tires once again.
