I'm in the hunt for Used Coilovers.

I searched some shops in sharjah,

they told me they have front 2 for my car and my rear they told coilovers doesn't come for my car.

My front is Independent struts and rear is torsion beam type, the reason why probably coilovers dont come for the rear.

In that case what can i do to lower the rear ?

Can i put coilovers in front and lowering springs in the rear ? This was suggested by one of the shops i checked out, other guy told its enough to just add lowering springs for all 4.

Any place in sharjah where any can suggest me to look out for coilover shops?

i have been searching on the road with Al Khubair, Intraco & all those shops.

Please advise.

I think wht the shops advised is better...I'v driven a car with coilovers in the front and shocks at the back...and it feels right...all u'll have issues with is getting the car passed...to which I would suggest is keep your stock coilovers with you when your changing them

about the shops...i forgot the name but

Direction : coming from dubai you take the right turn after sharjah City Centre...from the 1st signal turn left...keep an eye or the right side of the road...u'll see a shop " ZAWRAQ" theres a Irani shop RIGHT next to ZAWRAQ that deals specifally on Coilovers...the guys got good brands and used ones...bargain with him and u'll get what u need

why used? buy a new set or get a new set of lowering springs, wont cost more than $400 shipped to your door.
please do go about mix and matching suspension components. its a critical part of your car.

If HK20 drops out of the deal, I'm interested. I'm also interested in coilovers for my MX-5.

ok 1st coilover set doesnt cost less than 400USD... a basic Up and down adjustable coilover SET from Tein(meaning with performance struts and all ) that will give you -4 max ride drop, will cost you 965USD .. + local shipping fropm California to New York (i assume you have a SNS Aramex Account) then around 600 or more DH to your door via aramex SNS ...

Now if your referring to adjustable COIL SLEEVES (the one where you install unto your stock stuts) this will give you -3 ride drop. from ground control, Then thats around 385 USD ... + local shipping fropm California to New York (i assume you have a SNS Aramex Account) then around 200 -400 or more DH to your door via aramex SNS ... WEll NATAMI is way cheaper

a spring will be around 100 ++ USD from ground control ... 187 for Tein .. but this only gives you -2 on your ride drop.....

so basically it all depends on what height and control you want ... there are also full control coilover set from tein for around 1200 usd ... yeah but i dont suggest springs because you cant raise them up when you need to .... check this site out ... i have tried them and they are great they have most of the parts i need and they r not that expensive ... www.andysautosport.com (Y)
