Well yeah, it might be due to no taxes here. A set of BBS rims (18") will cost around Dh2500 w/ tyres. Whereas a set of TE37s (also 18") costs between Dh9000-11000. Isn't there a great difference?!!

and the make the Insurance go higher.

well its because there is not local agent/dealer of the rims, people buy it from other places and sell it here according to the price they ask for :P

Man In here in England if i put new wheels on the car the Isurance will go higher.
any thing do with the shape of the car or the engine, am talking about body kit and so on.. will make the insurance go higher. :? :(

forget wheel caps... even if you put a nismo sticker on the back they will charge you extra!

In uk we get taxed for everything we do! next they will introduce walking or breathing tax lol

Damn man... so you people should put up stickers once uve insured ur car.. the cops would only check for the car insurance not the sticker insurance ;p

there is no sticker insurance the car insurance will go higher if you put vinyls on it its all with the car insurance.
If you haven't paid for car insurance and Police stop you and find that you haven't paid you will go to Jail for few days and you have to pay fine too, the fine will be at least £300 or more.

man justchect out for RS rims they are cool and they cost around 6000 to 7000dhs. and you can find that in Shk Zayed road after PEPSI factory.

But i am not to happy wit the looks..
And my style is a bit odd.. so cant blame the manufacturer!!!
