Pimped out 4x4s needed for magazine photoshoot
Moderator:Accord98
Hey all, I am a Dubai based photographer and I am doing a photo feature on the car modification scene in Dubai. I am looking to photograph extravagantly modified pimped out cars along with their owners for this feature. If any owners of pimped out 4x4s (or any other kind of car for that matter) would like to participate in this magazine photoshoot, please message me. I will be happy to provide images to the owners for their personal use after the magazine has run them. I can send further details about the magazine and myself to interested folks via pm or email.
(Apologies if this is in the wrong section.. i will be happy to move it if someone could clarify which section would be more appropriate)
Thanks!

please dont portray Dubai as a nation of riced out fiber glass monstrocities...although it may be a little
There are some here that know a 'pimp my ride' style prado (or Camry's in Shaj) isnt cool, and that a track hardened and abused Evo is more what real petrol heads are looking for.
You should get to the track day on the 29th that Ozi is helping captain i believe. There should be some properly modified cars there

Agree with Dennis
However, I believe Sam can help you with that requirement, as he's in close touch with Chrome and Carbon, judging by the projects they've done. Some of their creations are outright monstrosities and seem like they've come from Pimp My Ride.
For really functional modifications, hit me up and come to Dubai Autodrome, where you will see Honda Civics (properly tuned for the track, not Mugen/Spoon wannabes), S2000, Evolutions, Imprezas, etc.

Many thanks for all this info.. however the 29th might be too late.
@Dennisp portraying Dubai as a nation of riced out fiber glass monstrocities ... I only wish my work and the magazine were that influential! Just wanted to do a small photo feature of owners with their cars.
@Ozi any chance I can photograph some of the owners with their cars sooner? Maybe this weekend or early next week?

Hi Sidsiva, I don't think that would be possible as they don't have meet ups often. The last track day was on the 15th btw.
Here is the link to the event, with details and pictures of previous events to give you an idea.

Good luck.

Sorry bud! But I respect the ones that show up to actually race rather than act cool on the street! I did see some nice Civics on the 1st though, please tell me they were modded?

My point is customizing for the sake of show is dumb, and it shouldn't be promoted. I've got no issues with stock cars, I drive two myself.

@Alex, I've seen those track day pictures, very nice!
I'll make an exception for the AE86, as long as it doesn't have LEDs and a Nismo sticker on the side

Screw you all, I want a damn EG now!alexEF wrote:no problem just playing
is this what you're talking about?
yes modded but not full time track cars (enthusiasts) and they are quite fast especially the silver EG.
sorry OP for the OT.
