February 3rd 2006 will see the much awaited European based modified and streetcar event ‘Ten of the Best’ (TOTB) launch its official ‘Arabian Tour’ at Emirates Motorplex in UAQ. TOTB Arabia, under the patronage of HH Sheikh Marwan bin Rashid Al Mualla and supported by the Emirates Motor Sport Federation, kicks off a series of events around the world that will focus its attentions on all things fast and furious, with a whole day of modified mayhem from dusk till dawn. Live Radio broadcast and special guest appearances as well as DJs will make sure the crowds are entertained throughout. TV Crews from all over the Middle East will attend as well as global coverage from Sky Sports.

TOTB Arabia is the only street and modified car competition that allows highly tuned and ordinary everyday cars to compete together in extreme but safe conditions. This event will be an introduction to young enthusiasts who want to drive their cars fast in a safe environment and not on the public roads.

Said Lex Akehurst, of X-Sport Events, All types of cars and drivers will compete together, from high performance extreme machines, to everyday vehicles. This event lets you turn up in your normal everyday car, its open to everyone, car clubs and garage teams, along with local individual entries. Invited champion cars from past TOTB events in Europe will attend, throwing down the gauntlet to the fastest cars in the Middle East and from around the world.

Tickets and entries are available on the gate or in advance from this weekend at F1NetCafe Dubai and Emirates Motorplex Umm Al Quwain.

The Emirates Motorplex is the new name of the drag (and drift) track in UAE which was earlier "Emirates Cars and Bikes Racing Club".

The F1 Net Cafe is in Jumeirah (on the Beach Road), beside the Palm Strip..

Nope, its only Drags! The cars you see in the pic above are their top drag cars which would possibly be here to challenge the Emirates-produced dragsters.. That's gonna be the fun part of it!

He's a friend of the guy with the orange R33 (our demo car actually) :)
Don't know anything 'more' about him anyways. Just met him once at this photo shoot.

I see. They really are quite serious. Uptil now, I haven't really heard from anyone about it. Majority would be Performance MS's customer cars and those from other private garages in Sharjah and Ajman. I bet, RSG Team and Future MS would be on the top!

By the way Yunis, do you have any pics of these participants from the UK side?
