First and foremost, as announced:Khan wrote:
While on way back few incidents.
1.Grayfox666 got screw in his tire ....so repaired it. in Kalba
2. Kurupt01 slept while driving at above 180 but thanks GOD he woke up when he drove on the hardshoulder of gravel no damage incurred... on highway
3. RAK civic was full heated he checked the pressure it was ok and opened the radiator and got his right hand burnt with the boiled water pressure on highway same spot.
Okay... Since that was the very first drive, it was a good one with everything under control and it does seem like everyone had a good time together Just a note since I see Khan saying something about Kurupt01 driving at 180km/h and falling asleep?Use of [thumbnail] tag for better pictures wrote:Feb-24-09 - Please use the [thumbnail] tag for posting pictures for the time being until the [IMG] tag is fixed and is able to resize large images properly. Since we now have member drives going on and will probably have more of them in the future, I'd want to focus on one thing that: We promote Safety in everything we do. I strongly encourage keeping to the roads' speed limits and please avoid over-speeding at all times. I'm glad there were no major problems of any sort during the drive but at the same time there is no way the Club takes responsibility under any circumstances. All participating in our events and meets are responsible for their own acts and it is the hosts' and organizers' job to keep everything under control in any case. It's a very good job done by Khan, grayfox, GT-Starlet and all who joined the drive in behaving responsibly and maintaining the reputation of the group as a whole.
I'd encourage more drives in the future and will probably be organizing more official and flexible drives soon for everyone to be a part of and have a great time together with all fellow members. Thanks to everyone for all the pictures, to Khan for planning & organizing the Drive, to grayfox and GT-Starlet for hosting and to all the rest for joining the fun!
Thanks for support.
And hopefully next time we gather more ppl....ofcourse with safety of self and others.
anyways it can happen at normal driving also especially when u work night shift and start ur day again with some activity without sleep.
And nothing was done intentionally.
Alhamdulillah everything went fine and next time we shall take care more of this things with suitable timings.
thanks for support ... will take care of the "thumbnail" factor in future

This incident happened when we almost reached sharjah. and we cruising at normal speed. The 2 reasons of this happening was coz of normal driving and heavy lunch + sun glare .... He slept and didnt know when he hit 180 we cud feel his car speed increasing slowly but thought may b he isnt aware and will reduce the speed. but then we saw his car slowly moving on the right lane and then touching the hard shoulder and gravel... he responded in time ofcourse other wise it might have been something we dont want to expect....Sam wrote:Okay...
