Hiii Friendssssssss,

I am looking to buy the most cheapest maintenance car for myself. My friend told me to go for toyota. But i cannot find a coupe in toyota. Please dont tell me to go for supra or celicia. But budget to buy a car is maximum AED 8k - 9k. It has to be atleast above 97 -98 model.

My main concern is about maintenance of the car. I dont want to put AED 500 every month (excluding of petrol). My monthly income is around AED 2500 to AED 3000. So I cannot think of spending huge amount of money just to maintain the car. Thus I am looking for most cheapest maintaining coupe in the world. Kindly advice. You people are professionals and I am sure you will give me the best advice.

I thought to go for Mitsubishi Eclipse - But I came to know that maintenance is high and parts are very expensive.

I thought of Honda coupe, Prelude or other coupe's - Came to know that honda parts are kindoff expensive.

I thought of Hyundai Tiburon and coupe's - Came to know that there's always problems in the mechanical parts of this company.

Then I thought of Nissan skyline/coupe's - Came to know that this is also bloody same kind of issue...

Now I am confusedddddd and lost... Damn where the hell I can buy a car which I want to buy

Note: I have got this inoformation from different normal individual. I didnt took this information from any mechanic or any professional car enthusiats.

So I want you guys to come up with your suggetions and advices. Please feel free to comment and guide me so that I will make my mind and take the perfect car for myself.

Cheerzzz (Y)

lancer Ls coupe 1.6L , 98-01 model usually under 10k . maintain cost is the cheapest , i was driving it around 3000km mouthly , with the regular oil change and full wash once in a mouth , still cost me under 500dhs .

i own one over 5 years , used spare parts and cheap replacement parts make by tawai and china is everywhere . you find a used engine less than 1k , front cut around 3k and there is 1.5 , 1.6 , 1.8 , plenty option !!

cheap champ  !!

Kingkenny is right, lancer coupe is a lot of fun to have. i had 1 got i for 7500/- sold it for 8000, now my friend has it. he swaped the engine for a FTO 2.0 v6 Mivec, the car beats most fast cars on the road now.

Honda, Toyota's, and even Nissans are probably the most reliable cars in the market right now. My old beat up civic with it's puny D16 engine had roughly 285,000km before I did a engine swap. The car ran MINT, just because it was taken care off...

I would say go for a civic HB or coupe. Both are good, reliable and when InshAllah you start earning more $$$, you can invest in some parts...Which aren't that expensive anyway :) ...

Treat the car good, and it will treat you good as well!! ..treat it like shit and expect it come out with new problems all the time :) ...
