Hey guys
so planning to buy a new car in a mnth or two

370z is the primary choice. then there is the g37s and the camaro ss.

Anyway since i know i will not be able to resist the urge of modding the 370z i want to buy a used 370z since i will land up voiding warranty and it would be a waste buying it brand new

my problem is thres the GCC and then thres american specs..
is american as bad as they say it is ?? are they reliable ??? wt issues do they cause ?? what about the cars from texas and vegas since the whole temperature thing ???

i am going to be using it as a daily drive..and i dont want issues.so help guys...

and hw much would the 370z american specs be for ??

gcc or american..i will be buying one with less than 30k kms. since i will be voiding warranty asap..i just dont think its wrth buying brand new.

cheers

Buy US specs if you want but get a full CARFAX report. You don't wanna end up with something that is accident repaired or has tampered mileage.

I personally prefer the 370Z. BUT since you're worried, you might want to have a look at the Mustang 5.0!

370z, buy a manual us or uae spec. if its usa spec get the vin and do a carfax report.
trust me you want the manual, daily drive or not. do it right the first time, dont buy an auto then regret the decision.
later on when you start modding you will thank me for telling you to buy a manual.

dont worry about the radiator. if at all car runs a bit hot you can buy an oil cooler, transmission cooler, power steering cooler etc etc. you will still save a lot by getting US spec compared to overpriced gcc spec. just check the car out completely, go under it check for frame damage or any welds like as if 2 cars have been welded together etc etc. oh yeah, dont forget my advise of getting the manual transmission

I had lots of US specs cars first my 2007 G35s sedan got it in early 2008 and have driven around 200k kms without any issue. Got the Z drove it fro another 40k kms no issues and my current 11 G37s.

Coming to Z all Zs has oil temp issue simple solution is getting an oil cooler, the oil temp goes up when you push the car too much.

IMO Comparing the Z and G, G37 is a better car if suspension has been worked on, only thing I did on my New G is good coilovers, sway bars and camber kits and trust me it handles on par with the Z slightly better.

Buying it, just get it from dealership in USA carfax is a nice thing to see but cant guarantee you a clean car. if not 100% , 99% of used cars sold in Ajman. sharjah had accidents, small or big it was those accidents which made the insurer in US to write off the car.

Dont worry about the parts just decide what you want both Z and G are awesome cars to be driven I am liking the manual more but 7sp Auto is really nice as well
