Hi,
im planing to buy a car from Dubai and i want to import it to India for permanent usage.Aslo to do re-register.So friends can you able to give me certain instruction regarding this topic?

Actually im planing to bring Hummer Hummer H3 its about AED 26000.What will be the expense in INR in an approximate.

Did you manage to import the car to India?

If you didn't then just wanted to point out some details before you taking that decision.

The Government of India has strict rules about import cars. 1st they need to be all right hand drive (which is opp of Dubai) so this could be deal breaker for you, also the vehicle can not be older than 3 years. So even a well maintained car for more than 3 years won't be allowed.
You can only import these new cars to Mumbai (Nhava Sheva), Kolkata or Chennai and used car to only Mumbai (Nhava Sheva).

I had the same idea too, of buying a luxury car & importing it to India. Had nearly purchased a maserati from https://suncitymotors.net/ and then had to change plan as I figured out the cost that I would be incurring.
