This will sell like hot pancakes for sureeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee:
Inside Line has learned from an unnamed high-ranking source within Nissan that Infiniti will launch a turbocharged version of its popular G sedan in the fall of 2010. The entry-level model will be called the G25 and will use the 2.5-liter V6 Nissan uses in the Japan-market Skyline 250GT (The Infiniti G is sold in Japan as the Nissan Skyline.)
At launch, the smaller turbo engine will be in the G sedan only and be sold alongside the naturally aspirated V6-powered G37. The idea is that the lower entry price and improved fuel economy of the turbocharged engine will give Infiniti more head-on competition for the popular BMW 328i.
In Japan the normally-aspirated engine is rated at 210 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque, which is competitive with the 3.0-liter inline-6 in the BMW, which is rated at 230 hp and 200 lb-ft. We expect the turbocharged version to be closer to 250hp.
As of now, a G25 coupe and convertible are not planned, but if sales are brisk on the G25 sedan, both will happen.

It's like an IS250, 300, and 350, they're all available in the US, but you only get the IS300 here.

^^ how is it like the IS-Series? Size wise the G is bigger, power wise the G is stronger, looks wise...well...I prefer the Lexus over the G, lol!!..
This car should be awesome when it comes out. Imagine a Turbo'd version of the IS300? Wouldn't that be sick?...ALl this movment towards FI is ftw...Now only if Honda did something about that

It's in the same league, but what I meant is that IS has 3 flavors (I'm not counting the IS-F), and the G had 2, coupe and sedan. And now this.

Honda has more important things to worry about, like introducing RWD

Honda already makes AWD cars!! The new TL and RL are AWD...on the other hand there is no more RWD honda's since they cut the S2k...Honda is really falling behind the competition!!...especially in the FI dept!!

I would like to add a few things. The 2nd Generation Lexus IS actually has more than three versions - IS250, IS250AWD, IS300, IS350, ISF and the convertible. The IS300 is only available in a few countries in GCC and South East Asia(Phillipines etc). The IS250 ans IS350 are not sold here in GCC due to the quality of fuel (I thought we get the best fuel here, apparently not)
The IS series are not FI friendly at all. There are hardly any after market Supercharger or Turbocharger kits available for the IS. Maybe one and that too only for the JDM IS. the ECU are almost impossible to crack and is not really worth the money for this car. The compression ratios are also too high from stock to allow for aftermarket Forced Induction. The G series on the Infiniti is a much FI friendly car.
The few things you can do to your IS to get more power is to add an intake and an exhaust. that will give you a maximum of 10 - 15 HP gain. The other option is if you have the money buy an ISF.
Sorry for the long winded rant. But just wanted to share my two cents.
BTW - I have a 2008 IS300

I would love to have an ISF or IS350 even but there are few issues:-
1. Where do you get one of them serviced? I have asked Al Futtaim and Dynatrade but they do not service them.
2. There is no warranty on these cars. I would like to have some sort of insurance for all the money i spend.
3. Lexus did not bring these cars here for a reason. We are not going to be smarter by getting a grey import.
What do you people think?
Sorry for going Off topic. The G20 turbo would definitely be the win i guess over here if it is priced sensibly.

This MAY be different, but I've spoken to Arabian Auto with regards to servicing a US import Infiniti, most say no, but some say yes, although, there's no warranty on the work they do.
