I have no idea what the circular thing is ontop of the manifold, and it has a pipe coming out of it and bending... and the pipe is just open!
is this the air intake ?? lol..

ok so i wanna fit one of those k&n cones in this, do i put it at the outlet of this big pipe? does that mean i dont even have a airfilter right now? lol... oh can i get rid of this circular thing over the engine all together and put piping instead?? coz it looks ugly as f*ck!

thnx for the help in advance!

That 'circular thing' most probably houses your air filter. If you get an aftermarket CAI, it will replace the whole pipe including the 'circular thing'.
Want my straightforward opinion? Stop spending money on your car. Just service it regularly and keep it in working condition. Later down the line, sell it and upgrade. You'll thank yourself.

I agree with TNT on that one... Unless you are planning to sink a lot of money into the car and make it your project car, just keep it as it is, service it well and save up to upgrade later. And I know how tempting it is to mod cars like that, I bet you're aching to change this, that and that, but if you can restrain yourself just save your cash and upgrade.

By the way, nice number plate! Sell that and upgrade hehehe...

I think your Colt is automatic right? Then just don't bother modding it...

:EDIT: And yes, I believe that the circular thing is your air intake. The circular part probably contains one of those circular air filters I'm guessing, but you should be able to open it and take a look for yourself I imagine, no?
