out of the supra engines. the 2jz ofcourse. but 2jz engines are a bit rare.. so what they usually do is make a 1.5JZ engine. which is 1jz head with a 2jz block

the skyline engine cant be compared to the both because u just said RB.. there is RB20e, RB30E, RB30DE, RB20DE, RB20DET(redtop), RB20DET(silvertop), RB25DE, RB25DET non-vti, RB25DET vti, RB26DETT..

rb26dett.. u can kind of tell by just understanding what the numbers mean

RB means RaceBreed which is the name for the engine
the 2 digit number stands for engine capacity. 26 = 2.6L, 20 = 2L etc..
D means dualcam (twincam.. dohc)
E means electronic fuel injected (efi)
T means turbo
TT means twinturbo

i dont kno anything about the supra engine

The Toyota JZ engine family is a series of straight-6 automobile engines.

Toyota has a few engines.. Let's say the 2JZ-GTE:

1. The first numeric characters specify the engine block's generation
2. The next one or two letters specify the engine family
3. The suffix (separated by a dash) specifies the features of the engine:

Suffix Feature
B Twin SU-style side-draft carburetors
C California-spec emissions
D Twin Downdraft carburetors
E Electronic Fuel injection
F Economy narrow-angle DOHC
G Performance wide-angle DOHC
H High compression like 9.8:1 (example: 5E-FHE)
i Single-point fuel injection
J Unknown meaning (example: 2Y-J)
L Transverse
P Unknown meaning (example: 3RZ-FP)
R Air injection
S Swirl intake (1980s) / Direct injection (1990s)
T Turbocharged
U Japan-spec emissions
X Atkinson cycle
Z Supercharged
LPG LPG fuel
