If you're talking performance mods, i'd personally go for an Intake first, followed by an Exhaust System and Header.

Intakes (CAI or an SRI) are cool coz they're cheap and give you most power for the money, and they sound good. they're know to give you anything between 10 to 15 horses...

Around 1000 to 1200 will cover you for a branded CAI/SRI Intake, with a permanent filter.

I think a branded exhausts should cost around 2000, but that's just a guess.

If you want a cheaper intake option, you can just custom-make it like i did with my SRI:

220 K&N Permanent Filter
120 Pipings + Fitment

You get similar gains to the branded ones.

I think Accord98 (one of the users here) will be able to shed some more light here, since he drives a Honda Civic SIR with an intake...

Hey juz, im no expert in modified parts, i'm still very much learning from everyone... and from the internet and magazines, and very little hands-on experience. :) This is a new hobby for me.
