the bad points are that its very sensative ...it breakes down on the smallest thing...

but the 2JZ GTE is a toyota ...A TOYOTA ..that means u can drive with ur eyes out of the Dash bored..
the parts are life long and it can go long

there was a test on the both cars... stock only..
the SKYLINE GTR (RB26) and the Supra (2JZ GTE)

the GTR toke the supra from the start because of the 4x4 .. but the supra on the high rpm gain up on the GTR.
So if the supra was 4x4 ..u can forget the GTR .
at the end the both engines are strong and powerful but there are the choices ppl like to chose about the way they like there car tunnend up..
i agree with you mr crush that supra is a faster car than the RB26 r32 or the r33 but not faster than the RB26 gtR34...

well if ya see rb26 has more value then 2jz....
i will give a simple eg....
if ya stroke up 2jz,it will cost around 60-70k with hks....
n if u stroke up rb26, whether its 32 or 33,it will cost around 80-90k with hks.... n 34 is more expensive then these so u can imagine.... :P

Go to http://www.PerformanceClub.net. They are more experienced in tuning GTIs.

KGTi, well u can start by going to gulf news and selling it !!!! :-)

Just kidding, think twice before dumping that sorta money on boost for a car like that. its just not the kit you'll be spending on, think of internal rebuilds, fuel management, electronics, gauges and a lot of custom work. im not sure of your engine layout but is there space for a kit?

good luck with your project, my advice is get a stock turbo car or turbo a strong block like honda that can hold safe boost.

regards

GTi is fast.. and u can supercharge it from performance motors .. they would be the best ones to do it out for you.. neat and clean... plus you would have enough space for that..
