i agree that 2 jz looks gr8.. but ppl modify more of the GTR's coz they run faster.. although they are expensive to maintain.. but price to maintain is second priority for some serious ppl !!!

I hope i am not disasspointing many with my opinion.. coz we have some serious supra lovers here !

From 1993 until 1998 the supra only had 240Hp but i 1999 Toyota made the supra with 320Hp.
The skyline always had 280Hp but the R34 has 275Hp until 280Hp.
and I saw a race between a Standard Skyline R33 v-sped and Supra , the skyline just flow and won.
I will post the Video later.
but in a circuit the supra might win because of the tourqe it has

You are right but in a circuit the Gtr should win cuz it's 4wd so this means that it sould be good in corners.
That is what I know about 4WD cars but am nt sure about Gtr and supra you ppl know about it cuz you own it or your friends do :)

How do you actually know the maximum output of the engine? (2080hp for the RB26DETT)

They are good engines, but I guess we should take the 4G63 in consideration as well..

4G63s are uptil now, the best high-output engines at very low torque. I'm not in favour of Eclipses at all but the EVOs being 4-cylinder and producing 280hp is a very amazing figure. They're real quick and would definately take the lead in the beginning when compared to RB26DETTs.

True, but the first post was about maximum output. :) Still, everything is relative. A stripped, first generation eclipse or talon can beat evo's quiet easily.. But stock, mitsu could've done a better job.

How bout SR20DET and RB25DET's, anyone have one of those? Are they expensive over here in UAE?

I have the SR20 in the GTi-R. Again, (stock figures) 220bhp, 4-cylinder and AWD.. Still unbeaten, main advantage being the weight when compared against the GT-Rs or the current infamous jap rides, the Toyota Mark IIs, Soarers and Starlets.

RB25s are not very impressive to me. Though, if tuned properly, would be as close to a GT-R easily. Uptil now, there's no RB25 that has beaten my SR20 (MashAllah). The Beauty & the Beast owner has swapped his car again for a RB25DET and has got a Turbonetics turbo installed instead of the T88. Well ofcourse, that kind of thing can rape any SR20!!!
