well looks like my problem has solved and since i hv spoken to a couple of my frnds ..
most of em wre having the same problem until recently..

Won't a dyno have less rolling resistance? It'll probably show some optimistic fuel economy numbers.RasHooD wrote:^This.
Or you could carry a can o' fuel in the trunk or fetch some when u need it after parking the car when it completes the 100 kilometers, wherever it is.
I feel its silly to go through this much pain just to determine fuel economy though, since fuel economy has many variables, taking out one will not make it accurate.
An empty tank filled with one single liter and run dry on a dyno will be a lot more accurate.

The point was not to compare it to the road, it was to instigate one variable at a time, like temperature, tire pressure, wheels, etc etc, and compare individual instances of dyno runs instead and monitor and observe the differences or fluctuations..
