Hello All,
Finally I have started pimping my own ride...
Started with DVD HU, Boston Speakers, LCD screen
And check out the Streetglow Gold series underbody kit.
Old post below....
As I have mentioned earlier, I have got couple of projects in hand and I had done stage one of pimping an Optima. The pictures are below. Unfortunately, I forgot to take the inside pictures, I had added neons In the interior too. But I will do that very soon.... (plus i need a digital camera instead of my stupid video cam)
Nissan Patrol
----------------
JVC HU DIN1, 6 Pre outs and USB connectivity
Boston Front Component speakers
Boston Oval Rear speakers
Infinity 300W 12 inch sub.
Clarion 4 channel AMP (500W)
Kenwood 2 channel AMP (250W)
Customer had specific instruction, the system should be robust coz this vehicle is used only for Desert trips. And no space should be lost coz they have their towing equipements. Plus the speakers and the sub should be removable.
So I made a removable custom Enclosure with three partitions two for ovals and the center part for the sub.. easy to remove since its jst one unit.
The AMP were placed on the tailgate and all the wires routed with double shield for protection.
U can see the state of the car, its been thru hell... Look at the junction box to plug in the SUB, and TWO oval rear speakers.
Kia OPTIMA
---------------
Kenwood Head Unit, DIN2
Kenwood AMP
JBL tube sub.
Three color Exterior Underbody LED Neon Kit
Blue color Interior Neon Kit (4 X 10 inch tubes)
Chrysler Newyorker 1994
----------------------------
Alpine HU
Boston Oval rear speakers
Boston Component front speakers
2 x JL Audio 12 inch 600w Dual Coil Sub
Custom single enclosure for the subs
Rockford Fosgate 1 Farad Digital Capacitor
Rockford Fosgate 1500 W , punch 501s Amp (500W RMS)
Sound stream EGA560.4x AMP (560W RMS)
Rockford Fosgate Custom Audio Wiring kit.
More to come!!!
Check here for more updates!
Regards

Yes, tats my job, get the stuff, install the stuff and provide gurantee for the job... (plus the work was under dadz supervision)
Well I am pretty sure there wont be any splash damage on those tubes...
I dont gurantee the product since its a low cost brandless stuff.
But I have made sure that the wiring is well done and I have provided extra waterproofing using silicon adhesive...
Its a customers car, already i have given him idea of level two mods and maybe execute it next month....

Sam, it isnt street glow... the guy had a low budget.
Last time i enquired about street glow, the guy said 900 dhs for jst the blue underbody kit..
This job inclusive of labour charge is Dhs900.
U cant expect the spread of a streetglow.... and the height was too low... It wud have looked much better on an SUV...

Ohh.. The charge is quite fair actually I like the job man. If only there's some kind of a tube that could actually spread the light, it would look much more cooler!Neo wrote:U cant expect the spread of a streetglow.... and the height was too low... It wud have looked much better on an SUV...
