I want to get 60% tints, rule is that nothing above 30% is permitted. How do I get around this?
My friend has all his cars done up to 70-80%, but he owns a business and they are all under the business' name and thus he has had no problems during passing.

hmmmm..You got a intresting problem TNT. I suggest you go to the maroor and tell them you have same skin disease which gets worse when exposed to sunlight. Just say the normal 30% tint doesn't work, I need it more thick lol.
Or you can put the car in your Sister/Mothers name and be like " YOO listen we are super religious ppl and I don't want anyone looking into our car..the 30% doesn't work for us". That might work as well...other then that I have know clue...

i think name doesntmaatter even if the name of your car is under your sis or mother. Law is a law. Nowadays they are checking the cars anywhere . Last night i was coming from dubai with my friend and they stopped us imagine they were standing on diversion road where light was not available :D . Checked the car tint by their machine in hand but was 30% and jus said to clean\wash the car :)

it does not make a difference if the car is in company name, mother, sister name. only with some wasta can you pass a car with dark tint or like someone said some luck like going at night or going for registration with the windows rolled down or something.

Right, thanks everyone for the answers.
Car will be on my name so the question of transferring it is out.
Registration at night, hmm.

hehe that doesn't work atleast not with me I had the CR-V in my mother's name before and I had 70's and was pulled over in Ajman and I tried to getaway by doing the same thing but their reply was the rule is 30% for everyone male or female, even locals! You can't even get away with religion. You can try with the skin disease but for that you will have to get a note from a dermatologist.

Sure thing bro! :)

Conclusion: stick to 30% or get 60% 'Irooni' and keep changing every year.
Thanks all (Y)

Agree with WKZ. Why risk getting fined TNT?

30% seems less, that's why.
