Smoked Head/Tail Lamps Discussion
Moderator:Neo
Okay here the story...
I got those yellowish stains on the outside of my headlamps... I knew that they need to be removed using a rotary sander & then a spray of glossy clear coat.. Since i will do so i am planning as well to give a black tone to my headlamps not completely blacken them but give then a translucent black/glossy coat... The question is:
A- What r the procedures/proper way to get it done? (aside form the cheap spary everyone buys from autoplus)
B- RTA does not pass blackened/smoked lamps on a car? what is the exact law againt this? (as wouldnt want to completely blacken them just a 50% smoked look with a clear coat)

no idea, where i got it from. cant actually remember.
my memory truely sucks. buts its been almost one year.
window tints do bond on headlamps, but it wont bond on a tiburon cuz of the casing surface.
please come along with ur tiburon for 2day's meet in qusais.!!
for tiburon the best thing is buy a 2006 model headlight set, which will cost u around dhs.900 for both together..brand new ones.

Im selling different kinds of CF vinyls here in classified sections, one more item i have is the headlight and taillight tints, these are special films from Germany with 3-5years durability against sun and are very flexible. comes in clear, smoke, light smoke, blue, yellow and red colour. Clear is for protection only and usually both smoke and red are for taillight and all except red are for headlight. Instant smoked look to your car.
I reckon you just polish your lights with plastic cleaner and then apply these
I have attached a picture below one guy installed on his caliber recently
