One of the reasons can be the summer , where you run your ac on higher fan speeds that could make your car thirsty for gas . Clean air filter . Maybe flush your engine on the next service. Maybe it will make a difference. But im just guessing its the weather.
Cheers!

^^^the o2 sensor would have tripped your check engine light unless it is just on its way to go...but still not that much mileage drop...good luck to the op

Ambient temperature levels surely affect everything from Air, fuel density to spark intensities and electricity conduction. NOTHING so much as to alter fuel ranges by a 100 kilometers though!

I was wondering, what if the O2 sensor did not fail, but has reduced efficiency or is coated with something? Still wouldn't change the mileage that much.

I wonder what it is. Heck I would even remove the kit to kill any wild thoughts!

BTW, engine flushes are seriously overrated.

Hey, have you changed wheels/tires recently? Have you checked your wheel bearings? Do they make grinding noises? Could be a sudden change in bearing smoothness due to impact damage as countered to gradual wear and tear. Could it also be one or more of a caliper piston sticking? Could the handbrake cable be stuck? These last couple of things would make your brakes smoke but hey its worth a thought! I love such mysteries :)

Change of spark plugs recommended. Sometimes overfilling engine lubricant oils can coat spark plugs and reduce efficiencies. (impossible again to be this serious without mis-fires or unstable idling)

i changed my wheels...but thre have been no noises or even a slight clink of a sound to suggest anything.
i changed my tires a week back...balanced them everything...
serviced it last week too.
they cudnt seem to think there is a prob with the car

2moro will head to nissan and use the warranty card.
i considerd removing the lip but tht is jus a lotta pain and as u guys pointed out a lip cud not make such a diff.

this mystery aint solved yet...hopefully i get to know smthing 2moro.

you mentioned you changed rims...if you have changed to significantly heavier wheels...this change can easily hit your mileage i remember one of my friends in toronto swapped rimms from lightweight TE37's to dub chrome heavy fuglies and he did loose a lot of mileage by the tank i think he even averaged a loss of about 75kms per tank just because of those heavy wheels...
