I'm planning to change my current stock rims 16" to a 17" Rims.
Current Tire: 195/55/16
New Tire Size: 215/45/17
Will this change affect me in terms of speedometer reading? If yes, what would be the difference?
E.G. If my speedometer shows 100KPH, what will be my actual speed with the new tire size?
My current Rims are 16", don't know the width.
I'm changing to 17x7 or (7.5) in front and 17x8.5 in the back. Will this affect my fuel mileage considerably? Will i have Any rubbing issues when its on stock suspension or if i lower it later ?

Actual Speed: 60 mph 100 km/h
Speedometer (New): 59.5 mph 99.3 km/h
this site would help : http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp
I don't recommend using the 17 x 8.5 rims on the back, the tire you are considering might not handle it.. the 215/45 17" can handle rims up to 8" wide.
You should definitely talk to someone at a tire shop to check if the tire can handle the rims you want or not.
The fuel millage will be affected for sure, I don't really know how badly though..

@Mr.HacKeR - If that's the case, what tire size should i go for the 17x8.5 at the back ? Can i stick to 215/45/17 say if the rims are 17x8 at the back?
@Rogue - How much dip in mileage am i to expect? I get about 550kms when i drive normally in cruising mode 80-100kph in full tank and about 450kms when i throttle and play around
My PCD is 4x114.3. Will i have rubbing issues on stock suspension or if i lower it later using coils?

I'd suggest getting some 16 inch rims and use the same tires you got now or get lower profile ones (not really needed) all you need to do to get the perfect stance is go low.. because 16's are perfect size for tiida, car will go really low to the ground and you won't even need any lips/ side skirts.
i've seen loads of tiida's with stock rims and just lowered, looks sweet!

My stock 16" Rims are nice but i want to change to 17" and lower it using coils later. I will try out the rims and see if it is going to have any issues in terms of rubbing or sticking out or any sort. Will update once i get to know how it is going to be.

I am currently running 215/55 17 tires on 17X8 rims, the lip of the rims is already outside the tire (just a bit)
something like this
it is OK to drive like this, but after a while the rim edges could be damaged. I am planning to get 225s or 235s soon, so imagine how a 17X8.5 rim would look like on a 215 tire.
But according to this site: http://customwheelsmarket.com/rimwheelwidth1.html
You can fit 8.5 rims on a 215 tire, but I really doubt it.
If you REALLY want the 8.5" rims, the only tire smaller than 235s is the 225/40 17, apparently the only model available of that size is the "Nitto NT555".
Speedometer readings:
Actual Speed: 60 mph 100 km/h
Speedometer (225/40 17): 60.8 mph 101. km/h
If you found it, make sure it fits without any rubbing issues.

UPDATE:
I found the Nismo LMGT4 Used RIMS but i am wondering if it is original or a replica with Rays Stickers and Nismo stickers and engravement of FORGED MONOBLOCK & MADE IN JAPAN. Sizes are 17x7.5 Front and 17x8.5 Back, 4 x 114.3. Did Rays make Nismo LMGT4 with 4 bolt ever? Could this Rays Nismo be a fake which they were trying to sell it to me ?
I tried the rear wheel (17x8.5 on 235/40/17) on the car and it is sticking out half inch, so i scrapped the idea of getting it. I also checked with a friend who has a great history with cars, he suggested that 8.5 will have rubbing issues and i will have loss of power on my tiida. What is your take on this ?
My next option is getting the Lenso D1R 17x7 4x114.3 for Dhs.2900 with 4 Nitto or Dunlop Direzza tires. What is your opinion on this deal ? Can i get something better elsewhere ? Is there any place i can sell my Stock 16inch tiida alloys with tires for about 1.5k or best offer ? Tires are 195/55/16 with just 14k kms done bridgestone potenza tires.

All you people care is about how it will affect the reading of speed sensor.
BIGGER RIMS = WRONG READING ON YOUR MILEAGE, WRONG ON YOUR SPEED, LESS MILEAGE ON CAR, SLOWER CAR, HARD ON BUSHINGS ETC, RIDE LIKE YOU DRIVING A SUV, ALIGNMENT ISSUES, RUBBING BODY ETC, MEANS YOU NEED TO GET YOUR BODY WORKED TOO ( ROLLED FENDERS ETC)
Stick to smaller rims on a small car.
Those were my 2 cents, now if you wanna be a like a low rider mexican, go ahead.
Cheers!

@7afe - I'm not planning to become a mexican lowrider bro lol . I just want my car to look the way i want it to be and be good. I want to have 17s rims, but the only issue i am bothered is this 8.5 width on the rear wheel of this so called NISMO Rays wheels, its that of a 350z My current stock size is 16 and it is fine for me to go 17. Just that i want to get the 17inch wheels of right size for my car.
