New wider rims = rubbing sound at humps, need fender roll?

I previously had BBS rims, 14x6 (14", 6" wide), with 175/65 R14 tyres and I never had problems but the grip was crap. The offset of the rims was +45 (see pictures).
I replaced these rims with SSR Type-X rims, which are 15x7, with 205/50 R15 tyres, and the handling has improved, and so has the grip. However, when going over bumpy roads and speed bumps, I hear a rubbing/screeching sound from the front, so I'm assuming it's because the front tyres are touching the fender as they're wider and have an offset of +35.
Please see the pictures for reference.

Does this mean I need to have my front fenders rolled? Where can I get it done at a proper price?

do u have a better side view pic to see the wheel gap of the front wheels?
First see where it is rubbing. One crude way is to put lots of chalk around the tyres then drive for a bit and see where on the body the chalk has rubbed off. Having a white car will make it a bit difficult unless u can find some pink chalk from a kindergarten school or something

I think I need to properly locate the source of the sound, sometimes it's the front, and the other times, the rear!

I may have found the culprit. The squeaks only come from the front, right fender so I took a peek and noticed this:
Bolt holding fender cover under front, right fender
Bolt holding fender cover under front, left fender
I also tried pushing the front of the car down and every time the bolt touched the wheel, it squeaked.

Tightened the screw and then bent it inwards:
No more squeaks!

I told you so!soflow wrote:The last pic I can see a bolt. Is the the rear bumper bracket? You need to hammer it out of the way or Drexel and shave most of it off. Almost certain that is the culprit. Simple DIY no need for any fender roll.
good its fixed
