Best place to go for engine conversions?

ECUs, intakes, turbos, fluids, transmissions, exhausts etc.

Will not be doing straight away as cash is tied up currently, however eventually the pos 6 in the galloper will be replaced with something more appropriate. The type of fuel consumption it uses I could easily have a ls1 with double the power.

I have not decided on the engine yet, but possibly a vq35/37,1gr or 2gr because it will be easier to register with the 6. Maybe a ls1 or 1uzfe.

Just want to see what will be easiest and find a good priced shop that knows what they are doing, that way when I have the cash research is done and I can get rid of the boat anchor that is in there.

You could throw any motor in there, if you have the ways to bypass the registration issues.
Personal preference - 1UZFE cheap and reliable, if you break it, it wont take you months to get the car running again.

Cheers!

Yeah pre 1994 uzfe and a china t70 wouldnt be a bad option It has crossed my mind. If I went ls1 it would stay na though. Engine would be about the same weight also, so would retain similar balance to now.

But being a v8, its going to be difficult to register. If its a 6, I dont see it being a problem.

Nah, if you get the right one its ok. A mate back home has a good chinese supplier for t70's in particular. Has used them on about 40 different engines and non are dead yet
