Das Auto Services is the worst dealer I have encountered so far. Mr. Arul Das is very rude, and doesn’t care about customer complaints. It all started when my 2002 Honda Accord required replacing the clutch. My car has already passed the 200KM mark, and I also wanted to have a full service done. So I have left the car to him and he told me maximum it would be 2 days to complete. So I rented a car and waited for his call. Call never came, I called him and he told me that there were also few things that needs changing (like steering wheel sealer, AC sealer, etc.) Mind you that the only problem that I was facing was clutch issues, I was surprised that other problems facing my car. Arul Das told me that he wanted an advanced payment of 1500AED to buy parts. So I deposited 1000 AED to him, and told him that usually service center pay for parts and customer will pay the final bill. Anyway he told me that the car will be ready on the third day, I told him no problem. On Thursday, the 3rd day came and I called him to check on the car, he told me that he was facing a problem with part orders and that I will not receive the car until Saturday. I told him no problem. Saturday came, and I called him to check on the car, and he told me that the parts still haven’t arrived. I called trading enterprises and they told me the parts are readily available, I called him back and told him what the sales representative told me and he said, he said yes parts are available but they are in Jebal Ali, so I told him that it usually take 1 business day to ship between Trading Enterprises Shops. He told me he will call me back, and he did call me back telling me car will be ready today and that I owed him 3300AED, I told him that all I wanted was to change clutch and full service and Arul told me it will cost 1000AED for the clutch, 350AED Labour and 680 for full service. Sounded pretty good (little over 2000), but it turned out to be 3300AED. Didn’t complain, So I grab cash with me and went to pick up the car and upon driving the car, I noticed that the steering wheel lost its smoothness, first gear was not smooth, car was hesitating/jerking, and when pressing the brakes the car shakes (I told him to also change the brakes and get rid of the shaking). I called him back telling him that my car has new problems that wasn’t there before, he told me that my car was old and it was bound to happen. I told him that surly all of these problems can’t happen at 1 time, especially after you worked on it. He told me that you need to spend more money (approximately an additional AED 3500 to fix the new problems). The car needed new power steering pump, new coils, new spark wires, new brake disk, and other stuff. He told me even that, he would not guarantee my car to be fixed completely and I might have to spend more. I told him, so your basically trying out what parts will work and I have to pay the bills for them, even though that the car might not need the parts. He told me this is the process all mechanics follow.

To make story short, he told me he can’t help me if I don’t buy the parts to fix the car.

Beware of DAS Auto, Sharjah, they are unqualified, they don’t tell you the truth, they don’t keep their commitments, and they don’t care for their customers. Will put some extra money to go to official Honda Service Center, so I don’t have to deal with him anymore.

Thanks for the feedback but I'm afraid the dealership itself isn't all that great. Try Lap57, never heard bad stuff about them.

Better off with the dealer. Trading Interprises in Rashidya is really good, though SZR one is shit. I can say Mazda dealer is good aswell, gives reasonable prices and good quality. But stay away from fooking Al Nabooda, they are morons who charge u like hell and dont know what the %#%$ they are doing.

I would recomend to avoid GT Auto Service Center, they do fairly good body work but suk at anything else.

Capital Auto repair is way to go. (Y)
