Does your car still produce torque after 5.5k? A stock RB25DE has no power after probably 6.5k. How's your tranny at 9k? Don't push it too hard. Try to stay around 8k to be easy on the budget and the car itself. You've probably got bigger cams, pulleys, sprockets etc. in there somewhere ;-)

True that,I was thinking the same..
it keeps pulling easily till 9k, acceleration becomes more aggressive and more responsive after 5.5k but ive noticed the acceleration drop slightly after shifting at full throttle from 3rd,4th,5th..
The car runs @ 110°- 120°C once warmed up and it never overheats. The tranny's running perfect @ 70 - 90°C just gets hot after some aggressive driving.. thinking of getting a service done and contemplation on an oil cooler for the tranny..any advice?

Oil cooler for the tranny would definitely help but it's quite safe anywhere between 6-8k range anyway, though I wouldn't recommend being in that range very often. Also look into a N1 water/oil pump.
