Edited.
I'd like to buy a Qx4. Or any other decent 4WD, but no Toyotas.

Hehe, thanks. Saw 1 on Dubizzle, it's 110,000 km driven, not agency maintained. Saw another on Souq for 47,000, 60k driven...with a replaced headlight, an American import, not agency maintained.

Guys, read the following carefully and tell me if I should be concerned.
Someone gave an ad of a G35, 2004 model, full options, No. 1 specs, lady driven, for sale...so I called, and we're meeting tomorrow morning, near my place, to see the car. It's driven 47,000 kms, asking price is AED 40,000...but it's an American spec. The person is Arab, and doesn't understand half my questions, and I'm really concerned I'll be given wrong information.

OMG...OMG. Miles...SHOOT. But even then, it seems reasonable. Yes, Sedan, I think. Would that make a difference? I'm checking it out tomorrow...with 2 of my brothers, one of which has a Murano he loves, the other has an Altima and can't seem to decide if his next car should be an Audi A6 Quattro or a G35/G37.

is that the same from souq which you send me the link...if it is..then check all the body part allignments and inside check for airbag repairs. just do a random check on the screws inside under dashboard if those looked like that they have been opened just close the door and leave.
try to find any kind of marks on the radiator and check the bumper paint at edges will tell you if its painted and last check the front inliners if they are new.
did you check the carfax??? it might save your visit totally and will show car is accidental ot not
the only reason to say all this is in pics its very clear that right side headlight is new..hmm

just remember one thing always check any american car first on
http://www.carfax.com/cfm/general_check.cfm as usually all the imports are taken from insurance salvage so it will be listed here and if the accident is not recorded then there is a possibility that its a minor accident which should be ok rest of the check can be done here
good luck

Okay, I checked it out, it's full-options, nav system, heated seats, sunroof, silver, with black leather interior, everythings in excellent condition. 47,000 miles driven, Emlrati owner, she also used the term Khaleeji to describe her next car, a Prado, US spec, lives in Sharjah, has a child, works in the afternoons, and today (so I'm assuming Government agency), with Sharjah plates and registration, and has no issues with me going to Tasjeel for checking.
I popped the hood, everything seems fine, no rattles, shakes, vibrations, brakes excellent, good pickup, handling (Drove it on Dubai-Sharjah highway)
Here is the catch, in fact, 2:
1) Car serviced every month at Emarat...she didn't say every x miles, she just said, every month, and she's got the car since a year
2) She doesn't know what a VIN number is.
Please HELP!

Okay, according to this, the VIN can be located on the car itself. Docaam, can you check if this is the case with yours, even though your model is newer than the one I'm interested in?

Update: I did not know that the Chassis number is the VIN number, thanks AccordTuner. I did see her Mulkiya however, so I called her now and asked her to send me her chassis number.

Update: Some sites they're not the same, some say they are. She SMS'd the Chassis number to me, it's 16 digits...and the site won't accept it.

for any american car VIN number will be identified on carfax, I dont get what you really want to know?
VIN number is on a small plate on driver side above the dashboard visible from outside from the windscreen like lower left corner of windscreen. should be same in registration card as well
