Im in on a weekend. Just let me know if anyone is going.
Just went for my first karting sessions in Dubai... I was quite disappointed with my times, and disappointed by some people who drive at 20kmph... Other than that it was great fun !! I sprained my ligaments in my foot, so it was a bit hard to drive properly, but I tried not to think about it whilst racing hehe.
So I don't know whether there was a problem or what, but my first lap on the second run ended up being 1:16:501, which was my best time. I'm thinking, there might have been a problem or something? Where does the lap timer actually start?? Anyways, my times were not very consistent because it was quite a busy day, but for a few laps I was pretty much alone and was pulling off a shitty 1:19 lol... My kart's alignment was completely off though. Anyways, I can't wait to go back and pull off some consistency with my presumed best lap now that I kind of know the track. At the end of the second run I was starting to grasp all the twists and turns, so I think a third run would've greatly improved my time (and a healed foot haha).
I live pretty much next door to it, so you guys drop me a pm when you're going and I'll drop by, depending on my meager student budget . Gotta catch up to rogue and grayfox's times hehehe
