Just to clarify on Neo's post. He is correct, even though the specs says 50Hz-22kHz, it may not be able to play it as correctly, as these test are done in a controlled environment.
In reality you can put your LPF(Low Pass Filter) as low as 50Hz, yes the speaker can play that, but the clarity will be reduced as you increase your volume. In short, the lower you cross it (Midbass/range) the higher the possibility of distortion at high volumes.
The crossover of my seps is factory set at 4kHz for the tweeters and for the lows it will be determined by as how low you set it, but always mind the compromise.
Separates can not play as low as subs, that is why you would need a sub to reinforce the lower freqs. Though there are high quality separates that digs deep enough so that you will not require the help of a sub, but of course you have to shell out more moolah to get your hands on them hahaha!
But still this high price fellas can't still dig as deep, but can at least simulate it.
