So I am looking for a new daily driver...I am tore up between a 09 Chevy CSV CR8 and a Jeep SRT8. Everytime I see a CR8 I think, that's the one...then I have a look at the SRT8 and I think no way I want the CR8, I want the SRT8.. :roll:

Well just trying to get some opinion on both from owners or fellow enthusiasts.

So which one would u choose and why? have at it!

Oh also do keep in mind whichever it is will be getting the basic mods (exhaust, intake, suspension) done. So which is more UAE and or mod friendly.

Man that's very difficult to choose from CR8 n SRT.
Both r monsters but I think SRT will gve u more fun with all the mods mentioned. But if like to shake ur asss theb go for CR8(rwd).

Man its very easy one is a 4wheel and other is sedan .... !!!

BTW : both is good but my 1st choice will be SRT8 (Y)

SRT8 is a bit outdated now, they were immensely popular for a while but now they are just meh.
CR8 is still fresh and rare. Get one in red and call it a day.

CR8 praised for its power and performance... Its a good sport saloon and a cheap alternative for cars of similar specs... buy 6spd manual.. :) :)

CR8 all the way...as I still don't get it people buying SUV to be used as we DD by a single person :)

Mr Boost - I agree one is a SUV and other is a Sedan. But both will be serving the same purpose. SRT8 is a SUV by looks, doesn't really do anything SUVish (not even mild off roading even). Both would be used for the same thing, daily driving while having fun at the same time. :) Though I love the perf specs of the CR8 and the 6spd is a BIG BIG plus..SRT8 does look better IMHO. But RWD is more fun over AWD...crap!!!

TnT - You are right. CR8 is kind of the new kid of the block. If I decide with the CR8 it would be white 6spd with no sun roof.

ROJ - No Auto's for me when I have the option of a 6spd :)

Matt - I hate to say this, but it would not be seeing the track..Ever! :$

Lime - I am a GUY :|

keep em coming....Looks like CR8 is the ahead by a long way so far.

Also if anyone knows which dealer is more Anal or good/friendly with Warranty and Mods? The Jeep or the Chevy Dealer?

Love the display pic. I voted for the Jeep, because it's rare, and special. I mean, a 420HP SUV vs a 411HP RWD Sports Sedan?

Actually the 09 CR8's have a 6.2L instead of the 6.0L and make 425 HP
