To
exaggerate the chock-a-block potential of the second
most prominent Japanese high-performance street
class car, Bader’s intentions have quite indeed
been successful to the very end of his plans. The
2JZ-GTE rests under the hood, packed in the vivid
HKS color scheme, vigorous enough to claim more
than 600hp at a safe boost level of 1 bar (14.5psi).
The all-time contestant is the GReddy turbo kit
that includes GReddy T88 single turbo, GReddy 3-layer
intercooler, and Turbosmart wastegate and boost
controller. Stabilizing water temperatures is GReddy
radiator while GReddy exhaust system plays its part
accordingly. High-temperature air induction is taken
care of by GReddy intercooler and Blitz Suspower
core-type air intake kit, therefore, alleviating
proper temperature level for the turbine; whereby,
HKS F-CON V computer system manages all engine processes
and has been programmed to generate reliable horsepower
figures. |
The fuel side consists of HKS fuel rail, GReddy
720cc injectors and Tomie fuel catch system. Other
tidbits include HKS Super Sequential blow-off valve,
HKS camshafts, CP pistons and the profound OSgiken
triple-plate clutch. |
Not only is Bader one of
the very first Supra owners, the Suprastructure
project is completely street legal and ready to
confront anyone who has the backbone to throw
up a challenge. If
you happen to see him on streets, it’s your
unlucky day!
