I also won't come in my car, but for happier reasons.

Excellent meeting all you Boosters!
Lots of really cool people, lots of really cool cars - that's the way we like it! It was fantastic to meet such a variety of club members: ranging from 30+ years of hardcore experience tuning and racing - make sure you welcome new member Misha! - to the ever-awesome Zlatko, to Sam(2) restauring a 1986 Porsche 944 to perfection despite trying to burn his engine, to others really creating works of art like Salem, to others working on old trusty platforms like a MarkII. Other guy with Evos, others with Civics with Japanese number plates (!), to guys who just came without a car - you all rocked in my book!
There sure is a lot of talent in the club!
I was a bit worried we'd have some "wild ones" trying to impress themselves by burning rubber and attracting negative attention, but I'm very happy to say the people there were way too cool to do stupid stuff like that although the cars were waaaaaaay capable! In fact, the negative attention passed right by with a nod and a wink.
I got my uaeboost.net stickers and they will be gracing Al Ain roads from tomorrow onwards. Thanks Sam!
I'm glad you guys liked my "Jazz"!!!!! LOOOOOOOOL - It's just the way luck turned on the day - as Sparky said: "Good thing it wasn't a mini-van!!!"
Here's to many more meets! May I suggest we do a meet & drive up Jebel Hafeet at Club Admin's convenience? Nice highway cruise, a romp up 12km of Swiss Alps winding track of perfect tarmac, parking lot with views at the top to talk and show cars, even a hotel for sheesha if interested after. It'll be cold up there, too!
Photos I took are limited in the dark to the distance the flash goes - so cars I could not take. Here's what a car photo looks like in the dark (number plate edited):
But photos of a beauty of a Honda CBR 600RR did work since there's no depth. If owner wants full resolution he needs to PM me his e-mail:
Not my photo, but here's what my "Jazz" looked like - it wasn't my car, of course, I was just borrowing it
