you will need:

-turbo
-intercooler + lower and upper pipping
-turbo manifold
- 02 housing
- exhaust system
- intake
- injectors
- fuel pump
- ECU
- lots of money because your accord is not made to be boosted :P ....and will break done

stay away from boosting Honda's that are made to be economical..Instead boost Honda's that are made to be raced -like all the B-series engines etc etc.
Dont get me wrong I am sure there is a way to boost your accord - but I doubt it will last long...
why dont you just buy a piece of shit RHD JDM civic/integra and put a small turbo on it (nothing fancy, just small). And then take it to the track :P....

Yeah you are right, there are turbos available for 900 bucks in dragon mart.
But like tamu said there is lot more to building a kit than just a turbo.

Also the quality will be poor and this will definitely break the engine if the boost doesn't.

internals are not to be forgotten!

if im not mistaken the '96 accord has a piece of shit single cam f22 motor? which without any boosted assistance tends to give way to crank/connecting rods/pistons/valves etc so i cant imagine how it would be with around 10 PSI! :)

and those Chinese turbo's are, well...

Chinese =P

I know nothing about an accord motor....
But i know slapping on a turbo is no easy job.

:)

Well I dont have anything against chinese products becoz i believe even the well branded turbos must be made in china but with stringent Quality control and track proven R&D

^agree...

slapping on turbos/SC general FI or N2O is considerably easy but making sure the motor wouldn't blow is no easy task...

Well Rashood i would have to disseagree with you on that one, single cams I think is one donkey of an engine, I had countless friends that had them turboed and ran them for over 6 months at 10psi with no problems. The only one’s that blew them ran 16psi or over and this was due to constent abuse. I personally have had over 20 swaps in the past 5 years from d series to k series never the less even in my z here in dubai lol. I think with all these motors that i have blown were due to constent abuse and bad tune.
I know i know u will be like dude you shouldnt be talkin after blowin all these engins but trust me when i mean abuse i mean 5-10 races per night. (Y)

not really, i agree single cams have quite some potential when boosted, but the tendency to take the risk and always abuse is too high which makes it 100% certain that a blow is on the way...

usually the civic d series is better suited to low boost...

very cool video btw... lovin' the higher end hike :D
