You can say tht the hinges were the easiest things

The most difficult and the complicating thing are the locks

The hinges cost AED 20
and the locks cost cost me AED 20

is kind of loose???

i did read some of the problems..but since you have tried it and that to on a civic like mine, i am sure i will no exactly what probs i could face!!...il be waiting for your reply, bcoz i found where i could get the hinges from in qatar...and il be going soon to buy them and install...i am patentialy waiting for your reply!!!!

It looks nice!!! not my type though.

I hope its lasting... be careful of the hinges.. apply some grease on the joints.. mite end up rusting...

yea exactly the problem is tht its loose and it sticks out a bit from the ends facing the rear screen of the car

Due to the bass in the trunk i can hear the locks vibration and the locks sometimes open coz of the bass

ok i finally did it as well!!!in the pic you can see my trunk is now flip flopped :P ...hhehehe...and my fosgate woofer ;) ...i luv my sound system more then my car!!

ok so things to look out for

-when installing the lock..make sure you get a heavy dutty lock!!..i tried with the normal ones and as 3mro said the bass would undo the lock. if the lock isnt put in properlly u will get the trunk sticking out a bit!!!

-ppl with sound systems!!! you will have your car viberating more for some reasons..so try to make sure you can get you lock to bring the body of the trunk and the hinge as close as possible

-please make sure you follow my steps and not just look at the pics and do it..cz it will turn into a mess!!!

other then that i faced no probs...my hinges where kind of hard..not so loose so that was a positive side!!i dont no guys i realy liked it!!! :D ..it looks PIMP
